Simpology Manager has some great functionality that allows you to send digital requests to your applicants to upload documents or provide further information, via a convenient, secure digital portal.
Where to find the Info Request functionality
Info Requests can be triggered in the Supporting Documents section:
Or from the Information Request section:
Creating an Info Request while working on Supporting Documents
A likely and convenient time to want to use Info Request is when you are working on your supporting documents checklist. If you realise you need a document from your applicant/s, you can click the Information Request to create and send a request:
Create a NEW Information Request
When you click the Information Request button in Supporting Documents, you are taken to this screen:
1. Takes you back to supporting documents screen
2. Takes you to the Information Request page of Simpology Manager (lists all your created requests)
3. Lists the application that you are currently working on (or you can search for other applications)
4. Is where you create the content for your request and send.
Completing the detail of a "new" Information Request
To complete the detail of an Information Request, you will need to:

Give the request a title
Select if you are requesting a document to be uploaded, or just information
Write a message to support the request
Click "Send Request"
Your applicant/s experience: Receiving and answering Information requests
Your applicant/s will receive an email notifying them that they have received an Information Request from you. The request will have a link to click through the to secure portal to login and view the request:
The applicant/s will click 'here' and be taken to an ANZ portal to finalise their login credentials (add a password):
When your applicant logs in, they will first need to 'consent' to work in the secure portal and share their information:
(They will only need to do this the first time they login).
The consent will require them to receive a "One-Time Pin" (OTP), this is issued via SMS from ANZML to the mobile number provided in the application contact detail.
The security code is then entered on screen and your applicant will press "consent":
Your applicant will then see any Information Requests that you have sent to them:
β
Note that your applicant can be accessing this portal on any device (they can just as easily login on mobile):
When the applicant clicks on the request, they will be presented with more detail of what is required. In this example, the applicant is required to upload documents to satisfy 3 requirements for Licensed Builder, as set by ANZ supporting documents logic:
When the Applicant clicks on any of these items, they are able to then upload the requested document:
The applicant is able to send back documents at any time. If they continue, they are able to click on each item and upload documents, and even add comments. When they have completed everything that you have asked for, they will have a 'ready to submit' status:
When they press submit, they will get notification of success, and then be able to close the browser:
Where Info Requests return to - how to process them
When your applicant/s return an information request, three things will happen:
You will get an email notification (this means you dont have to be working in Simpology Manager to know an information request has been returned):
2. Your applicant/s reply will land in the Information Request section in Simpology Manager:
3. You will get a 'notification' on screen in Simpology Manager, which allows you to click through to the waiting Information Request:
The Information Request section
Once you are in the Information Request section, you will be able to see the Information request that is waiting for you:
When you click on the 'replied' item, you will see what the applicant/s have uploaded:
By clicking on any of PDF images, you will see the full document, which you can scroll through to view:
Send Documents to Supporting Documents
If you are happy with the document returned to you, you can 'accept' the document; and send it to supporting documents so that you can use it in the checklist and send to ANZ:
This will send the document/s to the "documents bucket" in supporting documents:
