How to include a Credit Card Application in your Loanapp submission

Where eligible, you are able to include a request for a new Credit Card in a Loanapp submission. The Credit Card detail is captured in the Loan section of your submission. Where Products allow for Credit Cards to be included as an additional product, a New Credit Card option will appear on screen as a selection:

By ticking this selection, your submission will also apply for the new Credit Card:

You will need to confirm that you have provided all the relevant detail and documentation to your applicants and discussed all preferences:

You will be able to nominate a preferred Credit Card feature:

The preferred Credit Card type, and limit:

And Cardholder details:

Depending on your selections, you may be required to add further detail and/or confirm you have had necessary discussions with your applicants:

Note that where a Credit Card is applied for, your applicants country of Tax Residency is required to be captured. You will be presented with a Yes/No question in the credit card section:

And where your applicant has Tax Residency outside of Australia, the country of Tax Residency will need to be nominated:

When you generate your application form, you will note a new section will be included in the form detailing the Credit Card Application:

Credit Cards can be included in a submission only where the applicants are eligible.

Credit Cards are not available where:

  • the application is a "Simpler Switch"

  • there is more than one statement of position on the application

Guarantors cannot be the Primary Credit Card account holder.
