Stablecoins peg their market value to an external reference.
USDT (USD Tether) is an example of a stablecoin pegged to FIAT, in this case, the U.S. dollar. Stablecoins may also be pegged to a commodity's price such as gold.
The main objective of stablecoins is to reduce volatility of the price of the stablecoin (e.g. USDT) relative to a "stable" asset like Gold or the U.S. Dollar.
To view insights on stable coins for spot markets:
Click on the insights link and sign-in or register
2. On the insights page control panel there is a switch to hide or show insights for stablecoins
3. By default, the insights page hides stable coins. To view them, click on :"hidden" and it will show "visible"
4. The tables will now show insights for stablecoins
