How can I order directly off of a DT (Delivery Ticket)?

In Powerlink, some yards promote a Quote to a Delivery Ticket as soon as their customer is ready to buy. This work flow skips the Work Order. APFusion streamlines the ordering process by allowing an order to be placed directly off of a Delivery Ticket for our inventory.

The following process sends the order directly to the appropriate vendor(s) and automatically generates a PO back in Powerlink.

You must manually reload the DT after the order is placed to see the PO attached to it.

Step 1: Promote your Quote to a Delivery Ticket by selecting Promote to New DT.

Step 2: Select Save DT in order to get a Delivery Ticket Number. Once you have a Delivery Ticket Number, you are ready to place the order in the APFusion App.

Step 3: Go to the APFusion App and click the tab Attach a PO to an Existing DT. Enter the Delivery Ticket Number you want to order from and click Submit.

Your Powerlink Store Number must match in APFusion and on the Work Order you created.

Step 4: You will be taken directly to the checkout screen.
You will then need to enter a customer (this pulls from your powerlink)

Step 5: After this you can either select "Ship to me" or "Ship to customer"
Make sure all fields are filled out, than you can select "Place order"

You will then show an order confirmation page confirming the order has been placed!

Step 6: The first thing you need to do as soon as you place the order is to pull the DT back up in Powerlink. If you edit or save the DT before doing this, the PO will still be in Powerlink but it will not be attached to the DT.

  • Click Find Orders

  • Click Advanced Search and Double Click the correct Delivery Ticket order.

  • The Stock # column should now be populated with the PO Number.

  • Double Click the Line Item to see additional PO Details (shown below).

  • You can also click the View PO button to see the entire Powerlink PO. This will include the APFusion R order number in the Notes section (not shown below)
