Understanding the Traction Refresher for Apolla Socks
No. The E6000 traction refresher is designed to RE-stick the patented grip layer that's already on the bottom of traction-version Apolla Shocks. It is not the grip layer itself, and it cannot be used to add grip to a sock that doesn't have one.
How to think about it:
- WITH-traction Apolla Shocks have our patented refreshable grip layer on the bottom. The refresher reactivates that layer.
- NON-traction Apolla Shocks don't have the grip layer. Spraying refresher on the bottom would add adhesive directly to the fabric, not a designed grip surface, and the result would be uneven, easily transferred to your floor, and short-lived.
A common setup we recommend:
One pair WITH and one pair NON. You're covered for any floor. See How do I decide between traction or non-traction? (https://intercom.help/apolla-performance-wear/en/articles/11853616-how-do-i-decide-between-traction-or-non-traction) for the full picture.

Floor-safety note:
Floor and finish compatibility varies. Before using traction, E6000, rosin, or any cleaner on a studio floor, home floor, stage, or turning tool, confirm with the floor or tool manufacturer, your studio owner, or the facility manager. Always spot-test first in a hidden area and follow that surface's care instructions. Apolla cannot guarantee results on every surface and cannot take responsibility for floor or tool damage caused by unsupported cleaners, refreshers, failure to spot-test, or use outside our care guidance.
