The Ratings Chart allows you to track and analyze the star-ratings that your app has got. The more 4 and 5-star ratings you receive, the higher your app will rank in the app stores and the more people will download your app. So aiming to get more positive star ratings is crucial to app growth.

Where to Find Ratings Chart

You can find the Ratings Chart in Ratings & Reviews --> Ratings

How to Use the Ratings Chart

First, choose the country you'd like to see your app's ratings for, as well as the date range.

Then, there are 2 views in the Ratings Chart:

1. Total

2. New

Ratings Chart Total

The Total view shows you the total amount of ratings your app has.

  • By hovering over the chart, you can see the details for a specific date.

  • The green line going across the chart shows you the average star rating

  • Each colour represents a different star rating

By clicking on the toggles below the chart, you can turn on or off the visualization for that star rating in the chart. Below the chart, you can also decide if you want to see the ratings broken down by day, week, or month.

Below the chart, you'll see a small box telling you how your ratings have changed for the selected date range. In the image below, you can see that the number of ratings received increased by 17 and the average star rating dropped by 0.1 in the selected date range.

Ratings Chart New

The New view allows you to see the new ratings your app has received in the selected date range.

  • By hovering over the chart, you can see the details for a specific date.

  • The green line going across the chart shows you the average star rating

  • Each colour represents a different star rating

Just like the Total chart, by clicking on the toggles below the chart, you can turn on or off the visualization for that star rating in the chart. You can also decide if you want to see the ratings broken down by day, week, or month.

Below the chart, you'll see a small box telling you how your ratings have changed for the selected date range. In the image below, you can see that the number of ratings received increased by 17 and the average star rating dropped by 0.1 in the selected date range

You can export both charts as a CSV file.
