Based on App Radar's integration with Generative AI, this feature makes analyzing hundreds of reviews quick and easy, giving you a comprehensive understanding of your competitors in just a few clicks.

Why you should use this feature?

Get summarized information on what features your competitors are offering, what their users are saying, and how they’re performing – have the edge you need to make informed decisions about your own mobile app.

Note: This feature is available on Growth and Power plan.

How does it work?

Go to App Radar's Growth tool and in the Menu under Reviews & Summaries select Review Summaries.

On this page, you may create a new summary or schedule an automatic summary:

To create a summary, do the following:

  1. Click on Create Summary button:

  2. Select your or your competitor's app.

  3. Choose a country of reviews

  4. Choose the date range

  5. Chose the ratings you wish to include

  6. Click Create Summary

You'll now be able to read the summary of your or competitors' reviews.

Please keep in mind that for longer date ranges (e.g Last 90 Days) it may take a while for the summary to be created.

As part of your plan, you have a set amount of review summaries available monthly. If you reach the quota and would need to access more, please contact us via support@appradar.com for upgrading your account.

What is Generative AI?

Generative AI is a type of artificial intelligence that is used to create new content, such as images, text, or audio based on certain inputs or parameters. It involves the use of algorithms and machine learning models to generate new creative and original content.

What model?

OpenAI offers a wide set of models that have different capabilities.

At App Radar, we’re using the Davinci model which is a part of the GPT-3.5 model. This model allows us to understand and generate natural language.

Understanding the model

The Davinci is the most capable model and can perform the tasks other models can but often with fewer instructions.

When it comes to applications that require a lot of understanding of content like our Review Summaries feature, this model provides the best results. However, it is not as fast as other models.

The models’ strong point is also understanding the intent of the text, which is also very useful when creating review summaries.

In short, the Davinci model is good at understanding complex intent, cause and effect, and summarization.

Is Davinci the same as ChatGPT?

While they share similarities they’re not the same thing. ChatGPT is using a different model which has been optimized for generating conversational purposes. Davinci on the other hand is optimized for complex language tasks.

Both models will also provide different examples when asked the same question.
