Tipping
Tipping fields supports dynamic text variables, allowing you to personalize messages for each recipient.
Example Tip Title: Add a tip for {{companyUser.firstName}}
Example Tip Body: Tips are always appreciated, but never expected.
Your text in your Tip Title and Tip body sections are what display directly above your 3 tip amount selects in the landing page for customers.
Available Dynamic Variables:
{{company.name}}– Inserts your customer facing business name from your General section in your location.{{companyUser.firstName}}– Inserts the first name of the company user sending the message based on who completed the job or what employee is tied to the request.{{customer.firstName}}– Inserts the first name of the customer receiving the message as received from the completed job from your CRM information or the first name field if the request is sent out manually.
Using these variables helps create a professional, personalized and engaging experience for your customers.
Default tip amounts
Admins can choose their three tip options for customers and also choose preselected tip value field to choose which amount appears highlighted by default in blue on the tipping screen. In the screenshot example below, your default tip amounts are $0, $10 & $20. And the Tip amount #2 - $10 is your Preselected tip value.
Enable Cover Processing Fee - when enabled, this option lets customers cover the small processing fee on their tip so that the full amount goes straight to the service worker, letting their generosity have the biggest impact.
What Customers See:
By default, unless otherwise changed when tipping is enabled, customers are asked for an internal rating (NPS score) before the tip ask shows up. This ensures that the happiest of customers are asked to leave a tip.
This would be the first screen, and then if they leave a 9 or 10 score, the tipping score above then shows up as the second screen.

The last part of this configuration is adding an email if you would like to be notified anytime a tip is received.
