Editing an Applicant's Information

Learn how to edit the name and basic information for an applicant

We all know that mistakes are common and that applicants can provide incorrect or outdated information from time to time. Luckily, Apploi makes it easy for you to edit an applicant's name and basic information. 

To edit information for an applicant, start by clicking on the name of the applicant to open the Applicant Profile

Name

To edit the applicant's name, hover over the name at the top of the page and click the pencil icon that appears. Once you adjust the name, click Save.

Basic Information

To edit an applicant's basic information, specifically address, email address, and phone number, hover over Basic Information and click on the pencil icon. Once you change any of the information that needs updating, click Save. If you update an applicant's email address, there is no need to delete any offer packets. Simply update the email address on their record, and you can resend any necessary offer packets to the updated email address.

If you've edited an applicant's phone number or email address, this new contact information will be the email and number that is used when texting or emailing the applicant directly through Apploi. Additionally, if an offer packet was sent to the previous email address, you can resend it to the updated email address without needing to delete the original packet.

Updating Employee Email Addresses

If an employee was hired with the wrong email address, you can update their email by editing their employee profile. There are two ways to do this:

Option 1: From the Employee Directory

  1. Go to the Employee Directory and locate the employee.

  2. Click the edit icon next to their name.

  3. Update the email address and save the changes.

Option 2: From the Employee’s Profile

  1. Open the employee’s profile.

  2. Click the edit icon in the Basic Information section.

  3. Update the email address and save the changes. Both methods allow you to quickly and easily correct an employee's email address.

Do I need to delete an offer packet to resend it to a new email address?

No, you can simply update the applicant's email address on their record and resend the packet.

Can I update an employee’s email address after they’ve been hired?

Yes, you can update an employee’s email address by editing their profile in the Employee Directory or directly from their profile page.
