Connecting Your Calendly Account

Find out how to integrate your Calendly account to Apploi

Looking for an easier way to schedule interviews with applicants? If you have a Professional Calendly account, you are able to integrate your calendar to Apploi so that applicants can schedule interviews directly on your calendar. Below are the steps on how to set up the integration:

  1. Connect Calendly to your calendar

  2. If necessary, connect a Zoom Account for Video Interviews. A zoom account must be created first before you connect the account to Calendly.

  3. Go to the "Integrations & apps" tab in the bottom left corner, click on "API and webhooks" and copy the "Integrations Key” at the bottom. Once you find the API Key, please send this to your Customer Success Manager.

  4. Set up a Calendly "event type" to specify meeting duration, meeting name, location, etc

  5. Let your Customer Success Manager know once these steps have been completed, and they will complete the integration.

Once the integration has been set up, you can easily schedule interviews via email and text message in Apploi.

When creating a template under the Email and Text Templates section of Apploi, be sure to select "Manually send Calendar invite for interview" for "When to Send":

The " *|CALENDAR_URL|* " merge field will also need to be added to the message from the Insert Merge Field dropdown list in order to get the interview scheduled:

Below is an example of a template that can be used:

Hi *|FIRST_NAME|*,

Thank you for submitting an application to the *|JOB|* position with *|COMPANY_NAME|*. We have carefully reviewed your application and would love to schedule an interview.

In order to get scheduled, please select one of the available timeslots:

*|CALENDAR_URL|*

After the applicant clicks the link in your message, they will be prompted to select a timeslot from the Calendly account:

Once the timeslot is selected, the recruiter will be notified via email with the interview scheduling confirmation:

On the applicant profile in Apploi, their status will automatically be updated to Interview Scheduled and the details for the interview can be found under the Interview(s) section:
