Schedulers, leads, and admins can now get notified when new shift applications come in — and jump straight from the alert to review applications and assign coverage

What’s new

A notification bell is now available in your app header. When a staff member applies to one of your shifts, you’ll receive an alert so you can take action quickly.


Who this is for

This feature is available for:

  • Schedulers

  • Leads

  • Admins


Where to find it

  1. Look for the notification bell in the header of the app.

  2. When there’s a new shift application, the bell will show an alert.


What triggers a notification

You’ll receive an alert when:

  • A staff member applies to a shift.


How to review applications from a notification

  1. Click/tap the notification bell.

  2. Select the shift application alert you want to review.

  3. You’ll be taken to a view where you can:

    • See the shift details

    • Review all applications submitted for that shift


How to assign coverage from the notification flow

  1. Open the shift application alert (steps above).

  2. Review the applicants.

  3. Assign the shift directly from that view.


Frequently asked questions

Do I need to refresh to see alerts?

Alerts will appear automatically when new shift applications come in.

Can I use this on mobile?

Yes — it’s available on desktop and mobile.

Who can see shift application alerts?

Schedulers, leads, and admins can use this feature. If you don’t see the notification bell, check your role/permissions with your admin.
