As Appnext is a self-serve platform, the Advertiser is in charge of the campaign optimization. The Advertiser must and shall pause/exclude the Publishers which delivered undesired traffic immediately in order to avoid further damage to campaign performance.

If the Advertiser is an agency, it is important that the Advertiser collaborates with partners with whom can retain frequent communication to keep a close eye on the traffic, know more about what happened backstage, and have easy access to data/reports.

Appnext yields in-house Business Intelligence fraud prevention and detection systems, in addition to working in close partnership with other top analytic data services.

Technology and manpower are symbiotically working together to ensure prime caliber traffic is delivered consistently through the platform.

Even though Appnext has an extensive set of business rules against fraud, in the event the Advertiser suspects that the traffic delivered to their campaign/s was fraudulent, the Advertiser must address this issue in writing immediately and provide the following mandatory details:

  • Date of campaign running

  • Campaign ID affected

  • Publisher ID which delivered the installs

  • Number of installs flagged as fraud

  • Proof that supports the claim (reports, screenshots, videos)*

*It is mandatory for reports to contain the Click ID, Time-Stamp and IP corresponding to all installs flagged as fraud.

Advertisers are able to spot suspicious traffic delivered within a couple of days.
Note that it is mandatory to take action within 3 days from the time the first installs were delivered to campaign.

The Advertiser is obliged to provide all the evidence to support the fraudulent activity regarding deduction/s within and before the 15th of following month. If inconclusive evidence or incomplete reports are presented within this timeframe, the deduction cannot be taken forward for investigation.

Appnext will process any eligible refunds (chargebacks) back to Advertiser account's balance.

The Advertiser will have no right to set-off, withhold or otherwise deduct any amount owed to Appnext under any theory of liability without concrete and specific proof of fraudulent activity by any of the Publishers through the service Appnext delivered.
