The Email Settings section allows you to manage and customize the automated email notifications that are sent to your customers at various membership milestones. These notifications are designed to ensure clear communication, timely updates, and a consistent experience for your members throughout their Membership lifecycle.

  • Enable or disable specific email templates.

  • Preview or test emails using the Test Email option.

  • Enable Admin Notifications to receive a copy of specific customer emails for internal tracking.

All emails are sent using Appstle’s secure email service unless a custom domain is configured.

Available Email Templates

1. Membership Created
Purpose: Sent when a customer successfully creates a new membership.
Use Case: This email serves as a welcome message confirming the successful enrollment and can be customized to include membership benefits or next steps.

2. Upcoming Renewal
Purpose: Notifies customers of their upcoming renewal date.
Use Case: This helps reduce failed payments and cancellations by reminding members in advance.

3. Next Renewal Date Updated
Purpose: Informs the member that their renewal date has been modified.
Use Case: This email is automatically triggered if the renewal schedule changes, ensuring transparency regarding billing and renewal timelines.

4. Renewal Frequency Updated
Purpose: Communicates changes in the renewal frequency (e.g., monthly to annual).
Use Case: Keeps members informed about their updated billing intervals.

5. Membership Paused
Purpose: Confirms that the member’s membership has been paused.
Use Case: Provides assurance to the customer that their request has been processed successfully.

6. Membership Resumed
Purpose: Sent when a paused membership is resumed.
Use Case: Keeps the member updated on the reactivation of their membership.

7. Membership Canceled
Purpose: Confirms the cancellation of a membership.
Use Case: This message can be customized to include reactivation options or feedback requests to improve retention.

8. Transaction Failed
Purpose: Notifies the member when a payment attempt fails.
Use Case: Encourages customers to update their payment method to avoid service disruption.

9. Expiring Credit Card
Purpose: Alerts members that their stored payment method is expiring soon.
Use Case: Helps prevent failed renewals by prompting customers to update their card details in advance.

10. Recurring Discount Code
Purpose: Sends discount codes associated with the membership plan.
Use Case: Reinforces value for the member by highlighting recurring discounts or loyalty rewards.

11. Membership Product Replaced
Purpose: Notifies members when their membership product has been changed, upgraded, or downgraded.
Use Case: Ensures the customer is aware of product-level changes and related benefits.

12. Membership Management Link
Purpose: Provides customers with a direct link to manage their membership.
Use Case: Enhances transparency and self-service by allowing members to view, pause, or cancel their membership as needed.

13. Security Challenge
Purpose: Sent when a security verification or authentication step is required.
Use Case: Maintains account integrity and protects against unauthorized access.

14. Transaction Success
Purpose: Confirms that a payment or renewal transaction was completed successfully.
Use Case: Builds customer confidence and serves as a formal acknowledgment of successful billing.
