🧩 What is a Combo Bundle?

A Combo Bundle lets you create fixed product combos and offer them at a discounted price. It is ideal for curated kits, starter packs, and complementary product bundles.

βš™οΈ How Does It Work?

  • Fixed Product Combinations β†’ Sell pre-defined product combinations at a special price.

  • Special Bundle Pricing β†’ Offer the combo at a discounted price.

  • Frequently Bought Together β†’ Perfect for products that are commonly purchased together.

  • Increase Average Order Value β†’ Encourage larger purchases with curated sets.

πŸ› οΈ Step 1: Create the Offer

Go to Bundles & Discounts on the Appstle Bundles dashboard and click Create Offer.

🧱 Step 2: Select the Combo Bundle

On the Create an Offer page, open the Combo Bundle tab and click Create Bundle.

πŸ–₯️ Step 3: Add the App Block

To display the combo bundle on your storefront, please add the app block to the product page and remember to save your changes:

  • If the app block has not been added yet, you will see an App Block not added notice at the top of the page.

🧩 Step 4: Add Combos

In the Combos section, configure each combo for your bundle and click Add Combo to add more.

βš™οΈStep 5: Basic Setup ,Product Selection & Usage Limit

Add the Internal Name for admin use, then set the Bundle Title that customers will see on the storefront.
You can also optionally add a Checkout Discount Name to display in the cart and checkout.

Select the products or collections eligible for this discount offer.

Set the Customer Usage Limit to control how many times each customer can use the discount.

This ensures proper control over repeat usage and applies limits per customer account.

🎨Step 6: Customize Widget & Typography

Adjust the widget layout, colors, and text styles for your bundle. You can choose between vertical, horizontal, or grid layouts and set card backgrounds, borders, and hover effects. Then, configure typography for titles, subtitles, prices, and badges to match your store's theme.

Set font sizes and styles for block titles, product titles, prices, combo product info, and badges to ensure clarity and consistency.

Review and fine-tune all text elements to maintain readability and brand alignment across the bundle.

πŸ—“οΈ Step 7: Active Dates

Open the Active Dates section to control when the bundle is active.

πŸ›οΈ Step 8: Purchase Configurations

Choose how the discount applies under Purchase Configurations.
Select One-time, Subscription, or Both, and optionally set a
Recurring Cycle Limit for subscription discounts.

πŸ”„ Step 9: Subscriptions

Enable subscription options within the bundle so customers can subscribe alongside their purchase.

Choose the layout (Checkbox, Horizontal, or Vertical) and set whether the subscription appears above or below discount tiers.

Add a title and subtitle for the subscription, and optionally preselect the subscription option or show the selling plan description.

🧺 Step 10: Cart and Checkout Settings

  • Enable a dedicated Add to Cart button if needed for independent visibility.

  • Choose bundle redirect: either redirect to cart, redirect to checkout, or no redirection to just add the bundle to the cart.

  • This ensures customers are taken to the correct page after adding the bundle, optimizing the purchase flow.

πŸ”€ Step 11: Discount Stacking

  • Decide whether customers can combine this bundle offer with other discounts.

  • Options include product, order, and shipping discounts.

  • Select the ones that apply to allow stacking with your offer.

🏷️ Step 12: Display & Taggings

Control which customers can view or purchase the bundle by using tags. Add order tags to automatically categorize purchases from this bundle for better tracking.

  • Only show to specific customer tags (e.g., Gold-Customers).

  • Hide from selected tags (e.g., Silver-Customers).

  • Add Shopify order tags (e.g., Bundle-Tag) to orders containing this bundle.

πŸ“’ Step 13: Announcement Bar

Enable the announcement bar to automatically show discount progress messages. You can customize messages for percentage and fixed-amount discounts, quantity progress, and amount progress, which are displayed to the customer as they unlock the bundle offers.

πŸ–₯️ Storefront View

Once configured, the bundle will be displayed on your storefront as shown in the screenshots.
