This feature lets you attach a specific subscription plan to each tier of a Volume Discount Bundle. When set up, customers who purchase the bundle will automatically receive the subscription plan you've assigned to their selected tier.
💡 Tip: Each tier can map to a different subscription plan — for example, a 1 Pack on a 1-month plan, a 2 Pack on a 2-month plan, and so on. This is the core value of the feature.
Before you start: Create your subscription plans in Appstle Subscriptions
Before configuring the bundle in Appstle Bundles, you'll need to create the subscription plans in Appstle Subscriptions.
Open Appstle Subscriptions.
Create the subscription frequencies you want to offer.
Make sure the plans are active and available on the product(s) you want to use in the bundle.
Example subscription plans
1 Month Subscription
2 Month Subscription
3 Month Subscription
⚠️ Important: Only subscription plans already created in Appstle Subscriptions and active on the bundle product(s) will appear in the dropdown when configuring the bundle in Appstle Bundles.
Configure the bundle in Appstle Bundles
Step 1: Create a Volume Discount Bundle
Open Appstle Bundles.
Navigate to Volume Discount Bundles.
Click Create Bundle (or edit an existing bundle).
Select the product(s) on which the subscription plans from Appstle Subscriptions are already activated.
Step 2: Assign a subscription plan to each tier
Scroll down to the Tier Discounts section.
Create your discount tiers (e.g. 1 Pack, 2 Pack, 3 Pack).
For each tier, locate the Subscription Plan dropdown.
Select the subscription plan you want to associate with that tier.
Repeat for all tiers as needed.
Save the bundle.
Example configuration
Bundle Tier | Quantity | Subscription Plan |
1 Pack | 1 Product | 1 Month Subscription |
2 Pack | 2 Products | 2 Month Subscription |
3 Pack | 3 Products | 3 Month Subscription |
In this example:
When a customer selects 1 Pack, the 1 Month Subscription plan is applied.
When a customer selects 2 Pack, the 2 Month Subscription plan is applied.
When a customer selects 3 Pack, the 3 Month Subscription plan is applied.
Step 3: Enable Subscription Plan Integration
⚠️ Important: This step is required. Without it, the subscription plans you assigned in Step 2 won't actually be passed to the cart when a customer buys the bundle.
Enable the Subscription Plan Integration toggle.
Save the bundle.
💡 Tip: Test the bundle on the storefront after saving. Add it to the cart with each tier selected and confirm that the right subscription plan applies. If something looks off, double-check the plan dropdowns in Step 2 and that the toggle in Step 3 is on.
