Scenario: You run a coffee subscription business and want to send a promotional email offering a discounted trial of your Monthly Roast plan.
Instead of linking customers to your homepage and asking them to find the product and manually select "Monthly Roast" from the subscription widget, you can generate a Quick Cart & Checkout Link for that exact plan. Customers who click the link are taken directly to checkout (or their cart) with the Monthly Roast plan already added — reducing steps and cart abandonment, and improving conversion on time-sensitive campaigns.
⚙️ Setting Up a Quick Cart & Checkout Link
Step 1: Navigate to the Plan
Go to Subscription Plans and locate the plan you want to create a link for.
Click More Actions next to that plan, then select Quick Cart & Checkout Link.
Step 2: Select the Product to Offer
In the Quick Cart & Checkout Link setup, choose the product you want to offer through this link.
If the product has multiple variants, make sure the correct variant is selected before proceeding — this is what determines what gets added to the customer's cart or checkout.
Step 3: Choose Cart or Checkout
Select whether the link should take the customer to their Cart (allowing them to review/add more items) or directly to Checkout (fastest path to purchase).
Step 4: (Optional) Pre-fill Customer Details
If sending the link to a specific customer, you can pre-fill their name and email so the fields are already populated at checkout.
Step 5: Generate & Copy the Link
Click Generate Link.
Copy the link and share it via email, SMS, chat, or your marketing platform of choice.
🧪 Testing Your Link
Open the generated link in an incognito/private browser window.
Confirm the correct product and plan are already applied in the cart or checkout.
Complete a test purchase if needed to confirm the order reflects the correct plan and frequency.
