How can a merchant add/swap/delete products?

Appstle Subscriptions is one of the very few apps out there that currently provides the products add/swap functionality! This is a feature that we began developing based on a customer request, and thoroughly enjoyed the development journey. We sincerely hope that you find this feature valuable to your store, and that it helps you provide an excellent shopping experience for your customers.

Overview
The product swap/add feature in Appstle Subscriptions enables you and your customers to modify the products in an existing active subscription order. These are typically instances where a product may have different color, flavor, or size variations, and either the customer or you, as the merchant, wish to allow for switching the product variant in the subscription, after a few deliveries.

Functionality
You can swap/add a product in your merchant portal in the 'Subscriptions' section in the left hand panel.

Once here, click on the Subscription ID for which you want to add/swap a product in. It will take you to the Subscription Details of that ID, as shown in the screenshot below.

Here, click on 'Add Products'. You have to click on 'Add Products' for product swapping as well.

Select the product that you want to add to the subscription, then click on Add.

Once you have added the product to the customer's subscription, they will be receiving this newly added product in their upcoming subscriptions.

To delete a product:

Note: Please remember that to add a new product or product variation to an existing subscription, you only need to follow the steps to add the product. However, to swap a product, you will need to add the new product AND also delete the old product or product variation that needs to be swapped!

To delete a product from an existing subscription, go to 'Subscriptions' in the merchant portal left side panel. Select the subscription ID, for which you are swapping the products in.

Next, click the 3 dots icon next to the product / product variation that you want to be swapped and hit the Delete Product option.

The product will be deleted from the subscription. Now, this customer upcoming deliveries will include the newly added products.
