A shipping profile sets shipping rules for specific products and locations for delivery. Appstle Subscriptions' is integrated directly with Shopify's shipping profile functionality, allowing you to set profiles for your subscription plans.

To get started, go to More > Shipping Profile - Add/Manage.

After clicking to configure, click Create Shipping Profile in the upper right and type in a name for your shipping profile.

You will now have the options to choose or edit the subscription plans you want applied to this shipping profile, edit parameters in Shopify, and view the profile's details.

Click Edit Subscription Plan and choose any of your subscription plans you want to associate this profile with.

You can even approach rates with more granularity, giving some categories of subscription products one shipping rate, while other products have another. If you choose to do this, be sure to create more profiles.

Now to add rates, click on Edit in Shopify, which will open up the Shipping and Delivery section in your Shopify settings in a new tab. This section will list out all of the locations that are enabled in your store and have the subscription products chosen in stock.

Click add rates to bring up a pop-up where you can set your parameters.

Create zones (for delivery to different regions) here as well. This store is based in the US, and we will show an example of domestic shipping, so we will just select US from this list.

Then click Add rate. Select an option from Transit time, name the rate, then set a price.

The example above is for free shipping. Saved like this, this profile will apply to all subscription purchases. But if you want to factor in item weight or order price, you can configure conditional pricing at the bottom.

As an example, let’s say you choose order price and wish to provide free shipping only if a customer’s order amount is $50 or more.

You’d first need to handle rates for everything under that, so in this first condition, the range would need to be from 0 to 49.99. This price range will have a $5 shipping rate, as an example.

Now click to add another rate with the same basic configuration, but for free shipping, with a minimum order amount of $50.

If you want to deliver to additional places, click to create more zones and repeat this same process.

Hit save in the upper right when you are done.

You can come back to the Shipping Profile section in Appstle anytime if you need to view your shipping profiles’ details or edit anything in them.
