The Buy X and Get Y for free, or Buy X and Get Y for a discount (often known as BOGO - Buy One Get One) is a widely-used feature. Appstle Memberships provides this functionality to its merchants to offer their store members. This document will walk you through the steps for setting this perk.
The process of setting up a Buy X Get Y Discount perk is quite simple.
Preliminary Step:
Before jumping into the step-by-step process to set the 'BOGO' discount, we need to make sure that we have a discount code that can act as a sample discount code with the conditions/rules you wish to have. This discount code needs to be created only in Shopify's Discounts section as shown in the screenshot below.

Once the discount code is created in Shopify, please follow the below Steps to offer BOGO.
Step 1: Create a Membership Plan.
You need to make sure that you have created a membership plan. You can view the process for creating a membership plan in detail here.
Step 2: Assigning a Buy X Get Y Discount
The next step is to assign the discount to be automatically applied whenever a member is purchasing a product or service.
Once the membership plan is created,
Navigate to the Plan & Perks section.
Click on the edit icon under the Membership Perks column of a specific membership plan.
Under the Select Perk dropdown. Select the perk for Buy X Get Y Discount.
Enter the required details as shown in the video below.
After entering the Discount id in the Buy X Get Y Discount field, the message you have defined in Shopify will be shown, by default. However, if you would like, you can edit that message in the Appstle dashboard. We recommend to try and make this as catchy as possible!
Click on Save to finish the task and save your perk. You have now successfully set up BOGO or Buy X and Get Y for a discount perk, for your members. .
