Make Product Pages Exclusive to Members

Create exclusivity and increase membership value by limiting access to selected product pages—members only.


With Appstle Memberships, you can block non-members from viewing specific product pages while allowing members full access.

🚀 How to Set Up Members-Only Product Pages

🧩 Step 1: Create a Membership Plan

Make sure you already have an active Membership Plan.

👉 Create or edit a plan from your Appstle dashboard.

🎁 Step 2: Enable the Product Page Access Perk

  1. Open your Membership Plan

  2. Go to Membership Perks

  3. Select from the dropdown:
    🔹 Limit access to specific product page

✅ This perk allows you to block product pages for non-members.

🛑 Step 3: Choose How You Want to Restrict Access

You can restrict product pages using URLs or Shopify product attributes.

🔗 Method 1: Restriction via URL Path

Use this method when you want to restrict access based on specific product page URLs.

Steps:

  1. Enable Advanced Fields

  2. Choose one of the following options:

Exact

  • Restricts access only to the exact product page URL provided.

Contains (Default option)

  • Restricts access to any product page whose URL contains the specified keyword.

⚠️ Important: The default behavior is Contains.

🏷️ Method 2: Restriction via Product Attributes

Prefer not to use URLs? You can restrict the Product Page using product attributes instead.

Available Attribute Types:

1️⃣ Product Tag

  • Add a tag to your product in Shopify.

  • All products with this tag will be restricted for non-members.

2️⃣ Collection

  • Restrict access to all products within selected collections.

3️⃣ Product Type / Product Vendor

  • These values are available in the Shopify Product Admin.

  • Copy and paste the exact value into the corresponding field.

✅ Final Step: Save the Plan

Once saved:

  • Only logged-in members can see the Add to Cart button

  • Non-members will see your custom blocked message

⚠️ Important:
Members must be logged in using the same email or user ID they used to purchase the membership.
