🔒 Members-Only Page Access

Create exclusivity and increase the value of your Memberships by limiting access to specific pages—members only.

Updated over a week ago

While members-only discounts are a great incentive, exclusive access to certain pages (such as premium landing pages, guides, or insider resources) can significantly boost demand for your Membership and Loyalty programs.

With Appstle Memberships, you can hide selected pages from non-members while allowing logged-in members full access—without affecting the rest of your storefront.

🌟 Why Use Members-Only Pages?

✔ Increase the perceived value of your membership
✔ Offer exclusive content, guides, or resources
✔ Drive membership signups and upgrades
✔ Control page visibility without restricting your entire store

🚀 How to Limit Access to Specific Pages (Members-Only)

🧩 Step 1: Create or Select a Membership Plan

To offer members-only perks, you must have an active Membership Plan.

🎁 Step 2: Enable the Page Access Perk

  1. Open your Membership Plan

  2. Navigate to Membership Perks

  3. From the dropdown, select:
🔹 Limit access to the collection pages (used for restricting Shopify pages)

✅ This perk allows you to hide selected pages from non-members.

🛑 Step 3: Choose How You Want to Restrict Access

Appstle provides two methods to restrict page access.
The most commonly used method is URL-based restriction.

🔗 Restriction via URL Path

Use this method to restrict access to specific blog pages based on their URLs.

Steps:

  1. Enable Advanced Fields

  2. Choose one of the following options:

Exact

  • Restricts access only to the page whose URL exactly matches the entered path.

  • Ideal for restricting a single page.

Contains

  • Restricts access to all pages that contain a specific keyword in the URL.

  • Helpful in restricting multiple related pages at once.

⚠️ Important: The default behavior is Contains.

🏷️ Restriction via Page Attributes

If you prefer not to rely on URLs, you can also restrict pages using page-level attributes, depending on your store setup and theme structure.

✅ Final Step: Save the Plan

Once saved:

  • Only logged-in members can view the selected blog pages

  • Non-members will see your custom blocked message instead

⚠️ Important: Members must be logged in using the same email or customer account they used to purchase the membership.
