How to limit customers' access to specific pages, to make it 'Member' only?

While offering special discounts to 'Members' only is a great perk to make Membership and Loyalty programs attractive, elements that bring exclusivity, such as exclusive access to certain portions of your store, can also build demand for your Memberships, if tactically implemented.

Appstle Memberships offers this perk, through which you can hide some specific pages from non-members and make it members only. You can achieve that, by simply following some of the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Create a Membership Plan.

The first step to offering member perks, is to create a Membership plan, to which the perk will be associated. You can view the detailed process for creating a membership plan, here.

Step 2: Select the Membership Perk.

After creating the membership plan click on Membership perks as shown in the below screenshot.

In Membership perks, select the 'Limit access to the collection pages' from the dropdown.

Step 3: Pick the selector of your entire blog page.

A selector of the collection page is required to hide the collection page. You can find this, by inspecting the elements of the collection page. If you are not comfortable with selectors, please feel free to contact our 24x7x365 support team, and they will help you out.

Once you have the selector, simply paste the selector as shown in the screenshot, and customize the block message to suit your needs.

Step 4: Choose the restriction method.

We provide two methods for the restriction:
1) Restriction via URL.
2) Restriction via product attribute.

Restriction via URL

If you want to hide the add to cart button of the specific page you need to select "Exact" from the "Path match type URL." It means it will hide the page that exactly matches the URL entered in URL Path.

NOTE: You just need to copy the last part of the URL, i.e. the path after your shop name ends.

Now, paste the URL and save the plan you are all good to go.

By selecting "contains" from the dropdown, you can hide all the pages that include the same term in the URL.

According to the below screenshot, the page's URL containing /pages in the URL will be hidden for the non-members.

After completing the above steps and hitting 'save', only members will be able to see the specific blog pages in your store.

NOTE: Members must be logged in with the email accounts or user IDs, with which they bought the membership to your store, in order to see the specific page.
