There are many instances where you may want to offer your customers more than one type of discount for their orders. However, a key limitation from Shopify is that discount codes cannot be stacked onto a singular order, so you would not be able to define multiple discount perks for a single membership. However, with the use of third party discounting apps like Wholesale - All in one by DigitalCoo, you can define multiple types discounts for your members to take advantage of!

This article assumes that you have completed the creation of the Membership plan and product. If you need assistance with it, you can refer the help doc here.

The first step is to set up any kind of discount group, Wholesale, Volume Discount or Shipping discounts. Here is a compilation of all the handy articles from their team.

The next and most important step is to make sure that the Customer Tag for both the discount group and the membership plan is the same, as shown in the screenshot below:

This makes it so that any customers who purchase the membership are automatically tagged with the customer tag, and thus eligible for discounts from All in one by DigitalCoo.

Handy tip: If you are applying the wholesale discount for all the products, or any collection of products, do remember to exclude your Appstle Membership Product to avoid customers from exploiting the membership by repurchasing the membership repeatedly at discounted prices.

With the set-up complete, you can now test both apps' functionalities to see how they work in sync.

1) Purchase the Membership

2) Login to the store with the email the membership was purchased with.

3) Look into relevant product pages if you see the pricing table!

The marked section shows both how the pricing table will display and the discount that will be applied for the customer.

Handy Tip:

If the app's discount is applied, it will show the draft order checkout page if the draft order method is selected and Shopify does not allow the discount code box on draft order checkout. However, you can look into the Coupon Code API method instead of the default Draft Order API (Most popular) method as well.

It is recommended not to set any discounts in Appstle if you use this app with Memberships, as they will not be applied since we use the discount code method to apply discounts.

Test the checkout process, and you should see the discounts applied from the Wholesale - All in one by DigitalCoo app.
