Problem:

Being "out of stock," or not having sufficient inventory, is harmful to a business centered around recurring revenue streams. Automatic charges set customers' expectations. After Reaching out to them saying that the product is not available after their orders have been placed can negatively affect rapport. thus reducing recurring revenue for your store.

Solution:

Appstle Subscriptions & Loyalty app offers innovative features to help resolve such issues. Two features in particular, Product Swap Automation (click here to learn more about this feature) and Product Inventory Forecast feature, are worth noting here.

  • Product Inventory Forecast: this feature will give a forecast for the amount of inventory a merchant may need in the future. It can be viewed from the Analytics & Dashboard option (from the navigation menu) and the PRODUCT DELIVERY FORECASTING section on the merchant's dashboard:

    Now armed with this report, a merchant can divide their upcoming inventory into two parts Fulfillable inventory and Unfulfillable inventory. Here unfulfillable inventory consists of SKU's which cannot be arranged.

  • Product Swap Automation: Once the merchant has a report of the list of items they cannon arrange, they can use our Product Swap Automation cycle to set products that are a part of an existing cycle to products similar to the unfulfillable products that are within the same niche.

EXAMPLE:

A merchant has a batch of subscriptions with the coffee type Arabica to be fulfilled. The merchant recognizes that this type of coffee cannot be arranged in time. They can set a product swap automation cycle to convert all Arabica SKUs to Robusta instead (a similar but slightly cheaper alternative to Arabica).
