Although Appstle Subscriptions currently does not provide direct support for Shopify POS, there are 2 workarounds for this that can be taken advantage of.
Workaround #1: Customer has purchased subscriptions before, and has a payment method in their customer profile
If a customer has already bought a subscription and visits a retail store, the merchant can create a manual subscription for them using our app. This feature is available as long as the customer has already bought a subscription and their payment method is stored (see the screenshot below).
Workaround #2: Customer has not purchased subscriptions before, and does not have a payment method in their customer profile
In cases where customers have not purchased subscriptions and do not have payment methods stored in their profiles (see the screenshot below), merchants can still create subscriptions for them on their behalf.
For this approach, at the retail store, the merchant can take the customer's details, including their name and shipping address, and execute a purchase of the subscription product they are interested in.
Then, in the checkout page, the merchant can input the customer's card details and start the subscription.
