Shopify POS is a point of sales app that can be used to sell products in-person. As of the writing of this article, we have recently implemented an integration with Shopify POS for our loyalty app.
Note: Remember to have Appstle Loyalty installed in your store before following along this article.
The integration steps are outlined below.
Step 1: Set/Edit Shopify POS credentials in your Shopify Admin
Access your Shopify Admin either on desktop or in a browser on your mobile device and navigate to the Staff section under Online Store > Point of Sale. The most important elements are the email and PIN, which will need to be used to access the Shopify POS app.
Step 2: Log in to the app with your credentials.
If you're logging into Shopify POS for the first time, you will need to enter your Shopify store's credentials. You are then free to use the PIN you have set to log into your app in the future.
Step 3: Add Appstle Loyalty as a tile to Shopify POS
Appstle Loyalty will need to be manually added to the app, as by default it will not be part of Shopify POS.
You can select Add Tile in the home page here.
This will bring up a selection page. From here, click App.
As long as you have Appstle Loyalty installed in your store, it should appear in the next page. Click it to add it as a tile.
Appstle Loyalty should now appear in the home page of the app.
Congratulations! You are now done!
