This article will show you how to integrate the email marketing software Mailchimp with any of Appstle's applications.

The integration is listed in the dedicated app integration section of each app.

The process for each integration varies slightly, but generally follows a similar basic process, typically involving rules or API keys that can be either extracted or created in any available app, and this is true for Mailchimp as well.

First, merchants will need to enable Transactional emails in Mailchimp. To do this, please reference Mailchimp's API Quick Start guide here.

Navigate to your Mailchimp dashboard by signing in using your business’s email. Click on your profile in the upper right and click on Account & Billing.

Click the Extras option in the top bar and select API Keys.

Assuming you have no API keys already set, click to create one. Enter a descriptive name for this API key into this field. As this is going to be for an integration with Appstle, it is suggested to make the name intuitive with that.

Click Generate Key when you are finished.

Copy this API key, then come back to the app integration page of whichever one of our apps you are working with, paste it into the API Key field in the Mailchimp integration, then hit Update.

The integration is now complete, and you can now use your Mailchimp account to send out emails.
