If you're currently using Stripe with your platform and plan to switch to Shopify Payments for Appstle Subscriptions on Shopify Checkout, you'll need to connect a legacy Stripe account before migrating.
Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to successfully connect your legacy Stripe account:
Go to the Shopify Payments Legacy Subscription Page
Navigate to the following URL in your browser:
https://admin.shopify.com/store/{shop}/settings/payments/third-party-providers/39813121?secondarySubscriptionGateway=true
Note: Replace {shop} with the name of your store, it will the same shop name that is appearing in the Shopify admin URL.
2. Enter the Email Address Associated with Your Stripe Account
Type the email address that’s linked to your existing Stripe account. This should be the email you used to create your Stripe account initially.
3. Select the Correct Account
Make sure the correct Stripe account is selected from the list that appears after entering your email address. If multiple accounts appear, ensure you choose the account you want to connect with Appstle Subscriptions.
Click "Connect"
Once you’ve confirmed the right account, click the Connect button to establish the connection between Stripe and Appstle Subscriptions.
