Unlike other earn rules, the static rule does not automatically reward points upon customers completing a specific activity. Rather, you can use this for any other rule you wish to set where customers will need to reach out to you.
For instance, you can set a rule where customers can reach out to via a call so they can provide you feedback on their shopping experience.
To set up, please follow the instructions below:
Go to the Earn Rewards section.
βClick on Add Ways to Earn
Under Showcase & Other, go to Static and click on Create Rule.
βIn the Rule Name section, name the Earn Rule.
For Customer Facing Label, describe the earn rule with a brief explanation on how points can be earned.
βFor Customer Facing Icon, provide the URL of an icon or image, or leave it blank to use the rule-based global icon from the widget settings or the default image.

When you are finished, hit the Save button.
View Rule
Go to your storefront and bring up the loyalty widget. Navigate to the Ways to Earn section to view your static rule.
When your customers fulfill the requirements of your static rule, you can reward points manually using the Customers' section.
Click on the id of the customer in question to be taken to the merchant portal.
In the upper-right, select the Actions dropdown and click Give Points.
In the pop-up that appears, enter the point amount to add, select Give Points in point type, and optionally, write a reason.
