The Quick Checkout link is an innovative feature that provides an enhanced checkout experience for the customer. You can generate a link for products in your store, which can then be used in a variety of ways.
Use Cases
Helping a specific customer streamline their buying process represents a valuable use case for quick checkout links. This limits redundant scrolling and clicks, and has the potential to increase the subscription conversion rate for your Shopify store. If the user only has to navigate through a few steps, they are more likely to buy your product.
Quick checkout links provide the option to purchase directly from the front pages of websites. Many shopify stores have “buy now” options attached to them, such as in the screenshot below, that customers can use to purchase. You can incorporate the quick checkout link either in your Shopify theme files or by customizing your theme settings.
The quick checkout links can be useful for subscription models and memberships that are based on tiers (example below). If you are offering a model in this manner in your store, you can associate the purchase buttons with quick checkout links to speed up the buying process for customers.
Maintaining customer information is valuable and these quick checkout links represent an additional option to collect information from the customer. A quick checkout link can serve as an alternative to using links to the merchant portal. The links can be sent directly to the customer to enter their new information into the checkout page.
How to Configure:
You can access quick checkout links from More > Quick Checkout:
After that, you need to fill out a form page where you can fill in additional information, such as the product(s) you wish to select for purchase, the customer’s contact information, shipping details, and payment methods, etc. Contact information and shipping details, in particular, are used if you need to send this link to a specific customer.
Once you have filled out all of your desired fields, you can click Generate Link in the Summary section (at the top-right of the page).
You are now free to use your link wherever you need it.
