Maximum Discount Uses
Updated over a week ago

You can limit the number of times a discount code can be used when configuring any type of reward.

Click the Create Rule button in the Redeem Points section and click to configure a specific type of reward.

There will be a dedicated section for Maximum Discount Uses. Here, there are two options you can choose from:

1- Limit number of times each code can be used in total

2- Limit to one use per customer

The first option "Limit number of times each code can be used in total" is useful for allowing discount codes to be used multiple times.

For example, if you enter 2 into this field, every time acustomer redeems a discount code from the loyalty widget, that code can be used twice before it expires.

Attempting to use the same code after it expires will result in the message "This discount code has reached it's usage limit" appearing on the checkout page.

The second option, "Limit to one use per customer" is useful if you only want each discount code redeemed to be usable for one purchase.

Attempting to use the same code after it expires will result in the message "This discount code has already been used" appearing on the checkout page.

Once a customer uses their code, it will get removed from their rewards section of our loyalty widget so that they do not get mixed up with available rewards.
