Configuring the Appstle Cart Bot is essential for automating specific actions when customers interact with your online store's cart. This guide walks you through the steps to set up and customize the Cart Bot based on the images provided.
Step 1: Install the Appstle Cart Bot
Install the App: Install the Appstle Cart Bot from the Shopify App Store. Once installed, it will be available under the Apps section of your Shopify dashboard.
Step 2: Enable App Embed
After installing, make sure to enable App Embed for the Cart Bot to function correctly within your store:
Navigate to your Shopify Admin and select Online Store from the left-hand menu.
Go to Themes and then click on Customize.
Scroll down to App embeds in the left-hand panel.
Locate the Appstle Cart Bot and switch it on.
Save your changes to ensure the bot is embedded in your store.
This step is critical to make sure that the bot can work seamlessly on your store's frontend.
Step 3: Create Your First Cart Bot
Once you’ve enabled the app embed, begin onboarding to create your first bot.
After enabling the app embed, you’ll be directed to the onboarding page of the Appstle Cart Bot.
Click the Create Bot button on this page to start building your first Cart Bot.
Step 4: Configure the Cart Bot
Now that you're in the Cart Bot setup, follow these steps:
1. Name the Bot
You can just enter an internal name for your bot. This name is only visible to you and helps you identify it later if you create multiple bots.
2. Status
Please make sure the bot is set to Active so it can run once the setup is complete.
Pause when the bot is not active.
3. Priority
If you have multiple bots, assign a priority number. Bots with lower numbers run first, which is helpful if you have overlapping rules.
