If your online store serves a global customer base, it’s important to cater to the different languages and cultural expectations of your customers. For instance, you wouldn’t want to send an English email to a customer in France or a German email to someone in the U.S. With Klaviyo flows, you can automate this process by creating triggers that send the right email based on customer location.
Step 1: Setting Up the Flow in Klaviyo
Create the Flow:
Add Conditional Splits:
Configure the Email for Each Condition:
Step 2: Adding Multiple Language Conditions
If you have customers in multiple countries, you can add more conditions to ensure they receive emails in their native language. For example:
If the customer’s country is set to "France," send them a French version of the email.
If the country is set to "Germany," send a German version. You can continue to add as many conditional splits as necessary to account for all regions you serve.
Step 3: Customizing Email Templates
For each condition, you will need to create or customize email templates:
Go to the Email Content section in Klaviyo and select a pre-existing template or build one from scratch.
Customize the email content to match the language and preferences of the target audience. For example, include local offers or region-specific messaging to enhance the personalization.
Step 4: Finalizing and Testing the Flow
Once your flow is set up:
Make the Flow Live: Toggle the flow to live mode so that it starts sending emails based on the conditions you’ve set.
Turn Off Smart Sending: Consider disabling smart sending to ensure the flow sends the appropriate email, even if a customer has recently received another email.
Test Your Flow: Test the flow with different customer profiles to make sure the correct emails are sent to the right customers based on their location.
