Some functions, such as the Left, Right, or Match functions, need a string of text in order to work, as opposed to a number or date. In order to do this, you can follow these steps:
Create a new variable
Add the object that you want to turn into a string of text
Add a Plus sign and two quotation marks to the formula
This will convert the variable to a string of text and let you use any text related function.
