General Information

  • What are simulated commissions?
Simulated commissions are the fees that are factored into your trading performance during the Tryout to mimic real-world trading costs.

  • Why do you have simulated commissions?
We include simulated commissions to provide a realistic trading environment. This ensures that your Tryout performance closely mirrors what you can expect in a live trading scenario.

Simulated Commission Rates

  • How much are the simulated commissions?
The simulated commission rate is $0.80 per side, for all contracts. This means that whether you're trading a micro contract like MES or a full e-mini like ES, the rate remains the same.

  • What does "per side" mean?
"Per side" refers to either the buy or the sell in a trade. In a full round-turn trade (buying and then selling, or vice versa), you'll be charged $0.80 when you buy and $0.80 when you sell.

  • So, what is the total simulated commission for a full round-turn trade?
For a full round-turn trade (buy and sell), the total simulated commission would be $1.60.

Why Our Rates Are Competitive

  • How do your simulated commissions compare to others?
Our simulated commissions are set to standard micro rates, which are very close to the full contract rates on our desk. Unlike other tryouts that use high simulated commissions as a hurdle, ours are designed to be fair and realistic.

Additional Information

  • Does the simulated commission affect my net P/L?
Yes, the simulated commission is subtracted from your net profit or added to your net loss to give you a realistic view of your trading performance. Yes

  • Are there any other hidden fees or costs during the Tryout?
No, the only cost factored into your trading is the simulated commission of $0.80 per side.

  • Who can I contact if I have more questions about commissions?
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us.
