Overview

AquaFutures prioritizes secure, compliant services by implementing robust Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols, mandatory for users requesting payouts.

When is KYC Required?

KYC verification is required for all payout requests, whether for a simulated funded account or an affiliate payout. Verification is conducted once per user, with only one verified profile allowed per individual.

Documents Required for Verification

Proof of Identity (PoI)

Submit a live photo of an accepted identity document, which may include:

- Passport

- National Identity Card

- Driver’s License

Live Selfie or Video Recording

Provide a live selfie or recording that clearly shows your face, matching the PoI document.

Proof of Address (PoA)

Provide one of the following, dated within the last three months:

- Bank statement

- Utility bill for services linked to your residence, such as electricity, water, or internet

- Government-issued correspondence from a recognized authority

- Current lease agreement, signed by both parties

- Credit card statement

- Employer certificate verifying your address

- House purchase deed

Alternative Proof of Address Examples

If the above documents are unavailable, options like a passport, identity card, or driver’s license may be accepted if they contain your full address. Note that your PoA document must differ from your PoI document. If a document is declined, you may resubmit with an alternative.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Screening

To maintain compliance with AML regulations, all users must complete an automated AML screening to prevent money laundering and related activities. The screening includes checks for:

- Global watchlists and sanctions, including OFAC, UN, HMT, EU, and others

- Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) status

- Adverse media reports

Restricted Countries

AquaFutures cannot provide services to specific countries due to sanctions, restrictions, or elevated fraud risk identified through financial scams and identity theft cases. Users with citizenship or residency in countries on OFAC's Sanctioned Countries list or those restricted by our partners are ineligible to open accounts.
