Before you create a project and reports, you will want to connect one or more Slack channels.

The following steps will explain how to connect a Slack channel:

1. Select "Channels" in the top menu

2. Select "+ Add" to add a new Slack channel

3. Choose a Slack channel

You'll be taken to Slack's official channel selection page where it's safe to sign-in to Slack and choose a channel:

This sign-in process is called OAuth and, while it may feel a little weird, it's for your safety. You'll notice that the page is managed by Slack (see slack.com in the address bar) and you'll be sent back to Arc Analytics after your account has been authorized.

4. Celebrate! 🎉
