What are Custom Instructions?
Custom Instructions is a free text field where you describe your preferences. Mark reads these instructions on every interaction and adjusts its responses accordingly — no need to repeat yourself each time.
How to set up Custom Instructions
Open the Mark agent.
Find the Custom Instructions field inside the "Personalization" section in the settings/Brain.
Type your preferences in plain language.
Save. Mark will apply them from your next interaction.
Tips for writing effective instructions
Set a tone: e.g. "Keep responses short and to the point" or "Be conversational and friendly."
Control when Mark acts: e.g. "Always ask me for confirmation before generating a video."
Specify your defaults: e.g. "I always target a US audience" or "Use a 9:16 aspect ratio by default."
