Reset a password for an account

Reset the password from the client’s side.

To reset a password, your customers can use this link:

https://archieapp.co/your_domain/forgot-password

  • Replace "your_domain" with the domain of your site

Archie tip: The domain of your site can be copied from your sign-in link, for example, if your sign in link is https://archieapp.co/archie-demo/sign-in, what you need to use is "archie-demo"

After submitting the password reset request, you can confirm if the reset email was sent to the user.

  • Open to the Account.

  • Under the "General" tab, click on "Email Activity".

  • Review if the password reset email was sent. If the status is marked as "Delivered", it means that it was successfully sent.

Allow Time for Delivery: When submitting a password reset request, please allow up to 15 minutes to receive the email in your account.

Reset a client's password from your workspace

  • On the homepage, click Accounts, and then click personal.

  • Locate the account for which you want to reset the password, click the 3 dots button, and click open

  • Click the Actions button, and click Reset password.

  • Click Confirm

This will send an email to the account with instructions to reset the password.
