Auto-charge is a convenient feature that automates the payment process for new invoices. By enabling Auto-charge, the system will automatically charge the primary payment method associated with an account whenever a new invoice is generated.

Activate auto-charge on new accounts

  • Go to "Settings/Billing"

  • Scroll down to find the option "Activate auto-charge on new accounts"

  • In here, you can enable or disable this option

After enabling this option, new accounts moving forward will have the auto-charge option enabled, accounts created before this feature is enabled won't be changed, for this, you can follow the below step to enable it directly in an account.

Enabling auto-charge for a Specific account

  • Start by accessing the main page and proceed to the Accounts section.

  • Locate the specific account for which you wish to enable Auto-charge and open it.

  • Within the account details, click on the billing tab.

  • Scroll down to the "Payment Methods" section and check the field labeled "Enable to charge the primary payment method automatically when a new invoice is open."

Choosing when auto-charge will be triggered

After enabling Auto Pay for your account, it's essential to configure the billing settings to align with your preferences. Follow these steps:

  • Navigate to Settings > Billing.

  • Scroll down to the "Select when accounts with auto-charge enabled should be charged" section.

  • Select "Charge primary cards when invoices are sent" to process payments immediately after an invoice has been generated.

  • Select "Charge primary cards once invoices reach due dates" to process payments when invoices reach their due dates.

  • If selecting the latter option, define the due date by setting the desired value in the "Payment Delay (Day)" field. The due date of invoices will be calculated from the date they are sent.
