Arcol allows you to import map layers from your existing datasets as custom map layers within your Arcol project. We currently support linking via ArcGIS MapServers or XYZ raster tilesets via URL.

πŸ‘‹ If there are other datasets you'd like us to support let us know: support@arcol.io

Adding custom map layers

Arcol currently supports importing ArcGIS MapServers and XYZ Raster tilesets via URL.

To add a custom map layer:

  1. Click the + in the top right of the Map Layers section

  2. Click the Add New + tab in the menu that appears

  3. Enter the URL into the input

  4. If the format is supported you will be able to click Import to add the layer

Editing map layers

Different map layer formats have different parameters, and may require adjustment after importing to display properly. To edit a map layer, hover on the layer name in the May Layers section and click the edit button that appears.

Default map layers

Arcol has US Wetlands and FEMA Flood Hazard layers as defaults. To add these layers, go to the View tab of the right sidebar and click the + button in the Map Layer section to open the layers menu.
