Targets are used to check your design against the requirements of the project brief in real time while you model. You can set targets for quantity and size of an area type.

Targets are edited in the Edit area type menu.

Target comparisons can be shown or hidden in the Metrics sidebar by clicking on the target button in the top right of the Metrics sidebar.

If toggled on, a unit count comparison will be shown in the Units tab of the Area types section and a warning will be shown next to the unit size in the Unit size tab indicating how many area types are outside of the target size range (no warning is shown if all units are within the target range)
