Dynamic tables can be created on boards to display metrics for sites, buildings, or floors of a building. These tables update automatically as you edit your model, so you can always be confident that your presentation is accurate and up to date.

To create a table, click Metrics Table in the dropdown found in the toolbar.

You will see a placeholder box appear where your table is.

Populating the table

With the table selected, choose a View and Table type in the right sidebar. The table type determines what the rows of the table will be. If you select Floors you will need to also select the building.

Once the table is populated you will also see a Scope dropdown appear in the right sidebar. You can use this to exclude rows from the table.

Table styling

Table cells can be styled individually or as groups. Changes made to style (fill, text color, font, border, etc) while the entire table is selected will apply to all cells.

You can select a range of cells by holding shift while selecting multiple cells.

Column actions

To select a column, click on the purple grab area above the column. You can perform actions on the column by hovering on the purple grab area and clicking the dropdown button that appears.

Row actions

You can perform actions on the row by right clicking on the purple grab area. Note that deleting a row removes it from the table's scope (it can be re-added again in the scope menu).

Summary rows

You can add a summary row to your table by clicking the purple + button at the bottom of the table. You can add multiple summary rows to the same table.

Adding columns

You can add a new column to the table by clicking the purple + button on the right side of the table or in the column actions menu.

New columns are empty - select a Type in the right sidebar to populate the column.

Column groups

Some column types will automatically create more columns. In the example below, the Type selected is Area Type Unit Count - columns have been created for all area types in the project with >0 units.

Columns in the group can be hidden in the Scope menu or in the column actions menu (Delete column)
