Setting project base point

Setting a project base point is useful for establishing a 0,0,0 location for imports. By default the Arcol origin (0,0,0) is the center of the model, but you may want to match an imported model's location relative to some point.

To set project base point:

  1. Go to main menu β†’ Project β†’ Project Base Point

  2. Click in the scene to place the project base point

When a project base point is set, import settings that mention "origin" will use the project base point as the origin.
