Playlists is designed to enhance your monitoring and surveillance experience. With this feature, users can seamlessly organize and sequence their existing camera Views with a dynamic carousel, allowing for efficient monitoring and improved situational awareness. Playlist empowers users to create custom playlists of camera views, define time intervals between each view, and even toggle into fullscreen mode for a more immersive surveillance experience.

Key Features

Custom Playlist Creation: Playlists feature enables users to create custom playlists by grouping Views together. This grouping allows for a streamlined monitoring process, as users can play Views in a pre-defined order.

Sequencing Views: Users can easily define the sequence in which camera views are displayed within the playlist and reorder. This sequencing feature is ideal for scenarios where a specific order of camera views is crucial for efficient monitoring, such as security monitoring or traffic management.

Time Interval Configuration: Playlists feature allows users to set customizable time intervals between each camera view. This functionality enables users to control the duration for which each view is displayed before automatically transitioning to the next view. This is particularly valuable for thorough monitoring and analysis. Current options are: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minute.

Full Screen Mode: Users can toggle Playlists into fullscreen mode with a simple click. This immersive view provides an enlarged, detailed perspective of the selected camera view, facilitating a deeper analysis of the footage.

How To

  • Navigate to the ‘Views’ Page

  • Click ‘Playlists’

  • Click the blue plus ‘+’ to create a new playlist

  • Input playlist name

  • Select pre-existing views to add to the playlist. Views with channel counts > 9 are not supported

  • Reorder as needed by dragging the hamburger icon and set duration between each view

  • Click 'Done' and you've just created your first video playlist! Gain enhanced viewing as you carousel through different perspectives, gaining valuable insights from various angles with each curated View.

  • Enter full screen mode by clicking the fullscreen icon in the top right corner. To exit full screen mode, click the same icon or press the ‘esc’ key on your keyboard

  • To edit your playlist views or adjust duration interval, click the 3 dot kebab menu in the top right corner and select ‘Settings’

  • To delete your playlist, click the 3 dot kebab menu in the top right corner and select ‘Delete’ Note: deleting your playlist will not affect your Views
