The Mare Foaled procedure is recorded on birth of a foal following a successful pregnancy.

The Mare Foaled procedure automatically generates the Born procedure, and a new horse record (foal) is created in Ardex. You are required to enter specifics of the newly born foal, specifically the colour and sex.

An Agistment status must also be selected for the Mare, which is typically Foal at Foot agistment.

With the foal status now considered to be a Foal at Foot, when the Mare changes location, the foal will automatically move with her.
