The Final Scan Positive procedure is generally regarded as a 'final' preliminary scan (generally the third) performed on a mare to confirm pregnancy, or that she is In Foal.

Once a positive Final/Third scan is recorded, Ardex will determine a projected foaling date (Due Date) that will be displayed in Service Details for that mare.

Also known as Pregnancy Test Positive, or 45 Day Scan, this scan is usually performed 45 days after service.
