In most Ardex databases, the ‘Products’ tab will not display in Options and Settings. The tab will only display if you request that Inventory functions are activated in your database. Products is a feature that allows for advanced inventory tracking and management activities via Ardex.

Ardex Premier allows for activation of inventory tracking features. These features are normally only used by equine vets, and business that hold over $100,000 in veterinary drugs on premises in a store room, and need to accurately track purchasing and dispensing of these products.

Dispensing of veterinary products is normally recorded by vets using Ardex Mobile, then stocktakes and other inventory management tasks are performed in Ardex Premier. Significant training is required to make good use of Ardex inventory functions, and separate user guides are available that cover inventory management and nothing else.
