In the most recent version of Ardex Premier a new feature has been created called Reallocate Transactions. The feature works in a similar way to the Credits and Transfers function, but allows for a greater level of transaction detail to be provided to the owners affected by the reallocation.

The Reallocate Transactions feature is accessed by selecting Main at the bottom left, then click Horses, double click the horse name that has been affected by the billing error, select the Owners tab on the left side of the horse information window, and then choose Reallocate Transactions.

The purpose of the Reallocate Transactions function is to reallocate charges to the horse that have been invoiced to the wrong owner in error, normally due to a failure to accurately and promptly communicate a change in ownership for the horse.

Clicking the Reallocate Transactions button will open the Reallocate Transactions Window. This window provides a number of options and settings to target the reallocation precisely, and determine how the reallocation will display on owner statements.

In this example F Shepphard will receive a credit for 60% of the value of all transactions recorded to the horse Agnus in the month of August 2003. A Baker will then be charged for these same transactions. All new charges to A Baker will be dated 1 September, and the credit on the owners statement for F Shepphard will be simplified to one line, rather than listing out each individual transaction.
