Domain Authentication identifies ARI as a trusted and authorized sender of emails from your institution’s email domain. This allows our platform to send emails from your email address.
Every year, email providers increase the filtering of SPAM messages for their users. If you would like emails out of ARI to be sent from your institution email address, domain authentication must be completed by your IT administration. Completing domain authentication authorizes ARI to send from your email domain and greatly improved email deliverability. Without domain authentication, some emails sent from ARI may go to the Junk Mail of your recipients.
Along with authenticating your domain, link branding should be configured. Links sent by ARI are wrapped in a special URL which allows us to provide you open and click tracking information. Setting up link branding, changes the special URL to your institution’s domain.
Send this link to your IT department. These steps must be completed by your IT Administrator.
Add the necessary CNAME records listed below to your DNS.
If any of these values are already in use by your institution, let us know by sending an email to support@arirecruiting.com. We will generate custom values for you.Once the values have been added to the DNS, please send an email to support@arirecruiting.com to let us know. We will validate those values and will provide you two more values for the link branding.
Important Note: Domain Authentication only needs to be set up once per institution. After it has been set up for one sport using ARI, it is set up for all sports using ARI, even if new teams sign-up for ARI after Domain Authentication was already configured.
