Installing and Activating the Gmail Add-On
The ARI Gmail Add-On works in the web-based application. You only need to install it once and you'll be able to create new recruits and log emails straight from your inbox.
Installation
Select Get Add-Ons (+ sign) from the Gmail Side Panel
Search ARI and click on the ARI Add-On
Select Install and Continue
Ensure your ARI Add-On is pointed to the Gmail account associated with your ARI login
Once installed, select a message or create a new message
Select the ARI Add-On in your side panel
Select the three dots in the ARI Add-On and select Set API Token
Return to your ARI account
Select your Settings (Gear) and select API Key Management
Click on the + New Key
Select the three-dot button next to your new API Key and Generate Token
In the second dropdown select, Client - Email Plugin and then click Generate
Copy your token and return to your Gmail
Paste the token into the ARI Add-In and Save Token
Your connection is established when you see Match Not Found. You are ready to use the Gmail Add-On!
For a new recruit/athlete select the three dots in the ARI Add-On and select Create a new record, make sure your proper team account is selected and input the information you wish to use to create the new record.
Select Save Recruit and your recruit is now in your ARI account! Select Log Email to log the email to that recruit's profile.
